Refund Policy

1. Overview
Majori Studio provides digital invitation services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for our Per-event ($79) product and Studio subscription plans. It supplements the Terms of Service and is governed by Austrian law and EU consumer protection regulations.
2. Per-event Payments ($79)
When you click Publish, your invitation is instantly delivered — your guests can immediately view the invitation page and submit their RSVP. Because this is an instantly-delivered digital service, per-event payments are non-refundable once the invitation has been published, except in the following cases:
- Technical failure on our side preventing the invitation from being published, accessed, or rendered correctly
- Duplicate payment charged in error (our system accidentally billed you twice for the same invitation)
- Unauthorized payment (e.g., a stolen card was used without your consent — contact both us and your card issuer)
By completing checkout, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery of the digital service and acknowledge that you thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU. This consent is recorded by Stripe at the time of payment.
3. Studio Subscription
3.1 Monthly Subscription ($199/month)
14-day money-back guarantee.If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, you receive a full refund — provided you have published fewer than 3 invitations during that period. This ensures genuine "try it out" usage without abuse of unlimited features.
After 14 days (or after publishing 3 or more invitations in that period), subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time via your account settings or the Stripe customer portal, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
3.2 Annual Subscription ($159/month, billed yearly)
Unconditional 14-day refund. Annual subscriptions can be fully refunded within 14 days of the initial payment without restrictions, in line with EU cooling-off requirements for digital services.
After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time; your access continues until the end of the paid year.
4. Always Refundable
Regardless of the above, we always issue a full refund for:
- Technical failure on our side (service not delivered as described)
- Duplicate or billing-system errors on our end
- Unauthorized use of a payment method (fraud)
5. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to hello@majoristudio.com with:
- Your order ID or the email address used at checkout
- A short description of why you are requesting the refund
- Any relevant screenshots or error messages (for technical issues)
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days (depending on your card issuer or bank).
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve the issue faster than a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.
7. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not limit your statutory consumer rights under applicable law. Consumers in the European Union retain the rights granted by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as implemented in Austrian law (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz — FAGG), even where this policy is more restrictive. Where a conflict arises, your mandatory statutory rights prevail.
